Fort Myers Beach is a town on the north end of Estero Island in Lee County, incorporated in 1995. You arrive over the Matanzas Pass Bridge, the tall blue span locals call the Sky Bridge, or from Bonita Springs over the Bonita Beach Causeway and its Big Carlos Pass Bridge. Hurricane Ian made landfall north of the island in September 2022 and damaged most homes and businesses along the coastline, including Times Square, so the rebuild is part of the story on nearly every street.
The Matanzas Pass Bridge carries San Carlos Boulevard from San Carlos Island onto Estero Island. The current span opened in 1979, stands 65 feet tall, has a separate pedestrian lane and fishing piers underneath, and was painted its blue color in 2011.

Brayden Milner on the Milner Team went above and beyond and was not afraid to cross barriers to sell my vacant lot on Fort Myers Beach. This was not an easy, run of the mill sale.
